On Wednesday, June 13th, Miss Holmen, Katherine Weber, and seven other titleholders from the west side of the state, participated in Miss Wisconsin Preview Night at the Cleary Alumni and Friends Center at the UW-La Crosse campus. All the contestants showcased their their talents, platforms, and wardrobes at this standing-room only event. Katherine, Miss Holmen, performed her comic opera piece from the Enchantress entitled, “Art is Calling For Me”. She performed beautifully and looked amazing as well. Katherine also spoke about her platform issue, “The Importance of Fine Arts in Education,” and modeled her interview suit, evening gown, talent gown, swimsuit, and merchant’s dinner dress.
Katherine, along with the other west-side ladies, leave for Miss Wisconsin week on Sunday, June 24th. The week will be very busy and exciting, filled with many rehearsals and preliminary competitions on Thursday and Friday nights. Saturday, June 30th is the final night of competition where the top ten will be announced and the new Miss Wisconsin will be crowned.

Kathryn - best of luck this week! We are cheering for you!
Would be great if we could get updates on prelims, either here, or on the Miss Wisconsin website. Guess we have to stop in at Blue Cup for news!
I wish they would show the pageant on tv. We were there when they did that, and it added to the excitement.
