A day of shopping with Miss Holmen Hannah Rock was finished off by watching former Miss Holmen Kristina Smaby earn the title of Miss Madison Capital City 2009.  Katelyn Colvin was 1st Runner-up.  Kristina and Hannah will join the other hopefuls in OshKosh this June for the Miss Wisconsin Pageant.  Congratulations Joe & Ron for putting on another successful show!  Several former Miss Wisconsins attended the show, see if you can recognize Christina Thompson, Meghan Coffey, Tina Sauerhammer, and current Miss Wisconsin Briana Lipor.  For a slide show of the events from the pageant click here:

Hannah Rock, Miss Holmen; Katie Ekern, Miss La Crosse; and Sara Beier, Miss Onalaska were on hand to emcee and perform in the show today.  There were also special guest performers from Misty’s Dance Unlimited.  Check out the slideshow I created on photobucket of the days events!  Congratulations to Maria and to Alana Hess & Abby Ryan, her directors!

Congratulations to Miss Holmen 2008, Hannah Rock!  The Summer Safari came to a close with a wonderful show, each of the contestants did an outstanding job.  Elizabeth Butler was the first runner-up and Liz Rosendale was second runner-up.  The Dale Holley Memorial Interview Award was split between Liz Rosendale and Hannah Rock.  The Talent Award, donated by Rolf and Betsy Hanson was awarded to Meghan Rhinehart.  Liz Rosendale was awarded the Community Service Award donated by the Holmen Foundation.  Hannah Rock received the Spirit of Miss America Award given by Marna Holley.  Thank you to all of the volunteers and sponsors for your support again this year!
